The hospitable climate and even more hospitable people have made Georgia one of the fastest growing states in the country, with the population expanding from 8,186,453 people in 2000 to 9,072,576 people in 2005. This population explosion has put an incredible strain on the housing market throughout the state, and the construction industry responded with its characteristic “can-do” attitude, building thousands of homes, condos, apartments, and businesses to accommodate them.
Unfortunately the haste to build ever more and more structures has forced some construction workers to labor in unsafe and even dangerous locations.
Although construction sites in Georgia must meet mandatory safety requirements, accidents still occur. When these accidents occur due to the negligence, irresponsibility, or carelessness of another, the law can step in to make sure the wrongdoers are punished and the victims compensated.
If you were injured in a construction accident in Georgia you must contact a construction site attorney immediately. You may be entitled to compensation for your injuries, but if you hesitate the two year statute of limitations for personal injury in Georgia could expire, leaving you with no legal way to collect the restitution you deserve. Let our dedicated and aggressive Georgia construction site attorneys and lawyers help you. Contact us today.
